International day for the prevention of ozone layer
Vandana anchored the program and the prayer was done by Nithya. After the inauguration and the presidential address by the principal, an introductory speech was done by Sreedevi miss of natural science department. Rajaleshmi presented the importance of the ozone day Celebration and the theme was presented by Devika.

Today our class began at 9.45 am . The prayer was sung by me and the news was updated by Arya t . Then prathibha miss led the optional class. The class was a demonstration class. Our seniors neethu and sreenidhi led the demonstration for the concept attainment model and inquiry training model. The class help us to know widely about these models.then the general class was started at 11.45 .arya miss took the class about Dravidian education. Afternoon 2 pm is also our general class.the period arya miss used to revise the enitre topics of philosophy that was already covered.

Today 5.30 pm ozone day were started . The programme were conducted by the two science department combined. It's also a part of our subject association activity.
World Ozone Day is observed on September 16, every year. It is celebrated to spread awareness among people about the depletion of the Ozone Layer and search for possible solutions to preserve it. On this day, people from all over the world are expected to join the Montreal protocol to join the talks and seminars. A number of commonly used chemicals have been found to be extremely damaging to the ozone layer.
Life on Earth would not be possible without sunlight. But the energy emanating from the sun would be too much for life on Earth to thrive were it not for the ozone layer. This stratospheric layer shields Earth from most of the sun’s harmful ultraviolet radiation. The first ozone hole was discovered 30 years ago in May 1985 over Antarctica. Later, NASA found out the whole of Antarctica was affected and the temperature had begun to rise.
The theme for 2021 for International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer is "Montreal Protocol -'Keeping us, our food and vaccines cool".
The causes of ozone layer depletion were presented by manjusha and a poster were presented by raji. An idea of Montreal protocol was presented by sumaya.then an exhibition of cfc and non cfc products are presented by the physical science and natural science department together. From our physical science department I, Amrutha and Arya were participated. Manasi presented a beautiful logo for ozone day .We together take a oath and led by sneha.Vote of thanks were presented by prathibha miss and the program were ended with national anthem
