 SAFER INTERNET DAY

Subject Association Activities provide teachers with news and informations about the curriculum related to the subject areas and links to learning resource and also organizes conferences and workshops. As part of the B. Ed curriculum, a subject association activity was conducted on SAFER INTERNET DAY on 9th February 2021,Tuesday.

Safer Internet Day is celebrated worldwide in February to raise awareness about internet safety. Safer Internet day has been celebrated annually since 2004. This year marks the 18th edition of Safer Internet Day with actions taking place right across the globe and was celebrated on 9 February. The theme of Safer Internet Day 2021 is “Together for a better internet.


Safer Internet Day helps us to remind that Internet security is something that demands constant vigilance. It also reminds us that a lot of bad things can happen on the Internet if we don’t take appropriate precautions.

Programme details


The programme began at the right time as planned at 2.00 pm.The program took place in our general classroom hall as per the programme schedule given above. It was a very interesting, informative and engaging section. The program was a success.

My role

The work alloted for me was a speech about safer imternet and issues and also i tried to include the merits and demerits of the over uses of internet. Include the steps for better use of internet effectively 
We the teacher trainees of Physical Science option planned to conduct a flash mob related to the Safer Internet Day and it was executed well.
The day calls upon all the stakeholders to join together to make the internet safer and better place for all.

Science day celebration February 28, 2022 National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir.C.V Raman on 28 February 1928.For his discovery, Sir C.V.
