WEEK 1 : MONDAY TO FRIDAY : 04-07-2022 to 08-07-2022


                            INTRODUCTION

It was very pleasure that our second phase of teaching practice is at the same school where we did the first, Govt jawahar HS Ayur started from 04-07-2022.
The principal of Sabarigiri college of Education Dr Meera Raj alloted six students to jawahar HSS Ayur. Harilekshmi and me from Natural Science department ,nithya, devika, from physical science department and fousy and Devi from mathematics department were the selected teachers. All of our teacher in charges, especially Sreedevi teacher provided us with all necessary instructions, guidance, and support for completing our teaching manual, selecting activities and models for teaching and preparing teaching aids for teaching practice.

We the teacher trainees alloted to Jawahar HS Ayur, reached school right at 930 am everyday then signed our register, and we stayed in our alloted classroom. They welcomed us very gladly. We collected time table from headmistress because of the absence of subject teacher, Sunil sir who meet with an accident. When we got free time we did the work to be done.That was a productive day.
 The Second day started with the morning assembly and celebration of basheer day. I had no classes on that day. It was our duty to serve lunch on that day and also we got the task to prepare a 'dhinacharana calender' which showing all the important days of every month.
In third day, I went for an observation class of Devi Mr from mathematics option in first period. she took the topic named 'different method' .In after noon there was a meeting conducted by science club with the coordination of science teacher, renjitha. We also participated in meeting. In the meeting we all were discussed about the programmes to be conducted. From 2'0 clock there was PTA meeting of standard 10. So we had the duty to maintaining discipline. 
In fifth day I had no period in forenoon so I did the works to be done. In third hour I went for an observation class of fousy from mathematics department.she took the topic named ' pairs of equations'. It was our duty to serve lunch on that day. After this I had a period in 9th class but there was PTA meeting of 9th standard from 2'0 clock. So they joined the meeting with their parents. After that I had substitution period in 10th class and i revised the first unit in that hour. This week gave us an awesome experience and also productive one.

EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

05- 07-22 was Basheer day . So there was conducted a quiz competition in the school.students from all the divisions were participated. The first position was got by Nidhi from 8 th standard and second position was got by alfonse from 8th standard. Prize were given to both.There was a science club meeting on 08-07-22. We also participated in the meeting. We all discussed about the activities like scientific magazine, scientist album, exhibition etc . Renjitha teacher, the coordinator of science club provided instructions to Students for preparing activities as a part of science club. Scientist album is the first activity selected by them.


OVERALL REFLECTION OF CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE

The students of 8th standard and 9th standard were given teaching manual oriented activity based classroom experience. Two teaching manuals of 8th standard and one teaching manual of 9 th standard were completed effectively. 13 charts were prepared for eight standard and 4 four charts for 9th standard. Students were given followup activities like assignment and short note in science diary.

Science day celebration February 28, 2022 National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir.C.V Raman on 28 February 1928.For his discovery, Sir C.V.
